There will be no discharge or use of fireworks if a burn ban is in effect in the City, unless such ban specifically exempts certain types of fireworks.

The City of Sanctuary follows the Parker County ESD 1’s Burn Ban Policies. You may check the Daily Burn Ban Status by checking the ESD 1 website at: parkercountytx.gov/124/Fire-Marshal
Fireworks will not be discharged or used on City property, right-of-way or streets.
There will be an immediate source of water, such as a usable water hose or an appropriate fire extinguisher, available when fireworks are discharged.
Individuals under the age of sixteen (16) discharging or handling fireworks must be directly supervised by-a responsible adult.
Fireworks shall not be discharged after 11 PM, except on New Year's Eve and the Fourth of July.
REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR PETS INSIDE-EVERY YEAR THERE ARE WAY TOO MANY ANIMALS THAT ARE LOST DUE TO RUNNING FROM OR ESCAPING THEIR YARDS WHEN FREIGHTENED BY FIREWORKS.
