Azle The district encompasses 95 square miles, including portions of Tarrant, Parker, and Wise counties, and serves the incorporated cities of Azle, Lakeside, Pelican Bay, Reno, and Sanctuary.
Azle ISD is a district in which students, educators, and the community collaborate to create an engaging educational environment that promotes life-long learning. The district is dedicated to providing a world-class education for the students of our community. "It makes a difference to this ONE" is the motto of Azle ISD.
Azle ISD educates approximately 6,800 students on 12 campuses. The district integrates new and emerging technologies into our classrooms and provides technology devices for all students in grades K-12 to facilitate 21st-century learning and teach digital citizenship and internet safety.

Azle Hornet Academy
The Azle Hornet Academy gives students a non-traditional opportunity to earn their high school diploma. The curriculum is 100% online. Azle Hornet Academy is accredited and sanctioned by the State of Texas. Each student will have a certified teacher available to them for support and tutoring.
There are two programs offered; one for those students under 20 years of age and one for students 20 years of age or older (no upper age limit). For students younger than 20 years of age, we offer the in-house Hornet Academy located at 1010 Boyd Road. The school work will be completed in one of our computer labs. For students 20 years of age or older, the program can be completed online.
